"Choose a subject, keep it simple," is what my fotography teacher always said.I like how you did that.

Thank you. I was on a bike ride took a break by the sprinkler because it was cool looking. I particularly liked the mist of the jets.
Download what you want! I used this one as a desktop background for a while.
Well, catbus we meet again. Looks like you and I visit the same locations. By the way, are you a "high pointer" also? I am climbing to the top of Texas in March.. Maybe you would like to come.
thanks for the oversight!
I don't know, I just rode my bike up it and took a picture by the sign! LOL
Oh, ok. Yes, most of my pics I take on my bike rides. Yes, I was riding across the Panhandle along 385 from Dimmitt to Hartley. It got cut short, however. My goal was to ride to the OK boarder and on to Colorado and Kansas. I will take that trip later. Thank you for the complements. I took pictures of those places because, I couldnt find any when I was researching my trip. I will be sure to check out Dalhart's XIT museum. I will also see if I can attend the rodeo. Nice to meet you David
Have a great day
In the mid 60s, I ate at the Cowboy Cafe every Sunday night while going to college in Canyon. Was a great little cafe back then with a lot of business. Looks like it has fallen on hard times.
It's actually several barges, being pushed by one of ACBL's towboats. 'Can't make out the name of the boat, but from the design, it's one built by Jeffboat, Jeffersonville, Ind. 'Probably 145', around 5,000hp.
