1971 Diid my basic train in the wwII barrack, Some of my best memories in the Air Force was here at LACKLAND AFB when boot camp was boot camp. But I spend 12 weeks were most did 6 weeks. This building was once the Kinas Garage back in 1940s. I lived across a pasturein a regal home called the Pier Estate - the Town of Fond du Lac saw fit to tear down years later to put up high density housing off South Main Street. The Kinas family lived nearby and I was a good friend of Jerry Kinas one of the Kinas children.
