The last time I visited was about 30 years ago . It was dry - middle of a drought - and hot. I cannot remember the old car and the Eskom power line was not there. The cattle was driven up a ramp into a truck to be sold. I wondered if the Farmer survived the drought of the early 80'ties ?

I'm President of A&DHS(www.alburyhistoy.org.au)and we are researching a South African War Soldier (Australian) KIA outside Vryburg in 1900,& Buried in the mass War grave at the Cemetery.I'm a medical (eye)Photographer & saw your excellent images of the district and wondered if you had any images of the locality as it would put a visual History to the place he (Gnr Bernard Gowing)is buried.
