René Speur Mijn foto's zijn bedoeld om een impressie van een plek te geven of een idee over de plaatselijke situatie op een bepaald moment, en niet met de intentie "Kijk mij nu even een superplaat neerzetten". Als het een goed gelukte foto is dan is dat mooi meegenomen, maar minder geslaagde plaatjes (minder goed camerastandpunt, slecht weer) plaats ik ook. Niet de kwaliteit van de foto telt maar de situatie. Wat voorbeelden: het strand van Egmond in de jaren '50 toen de bunkers nog niet waren vernietigd, een molen in bijvoorbeeld Spijkenisse in een opknapfase. My pictures are meant to give an impression of a location (now or in the past), not with the intention: "Look at my glorious pictures!". If a picture turns out to be a good one (but who decides if a picture deserves the qualification "good") that'll be a bonus, but it's not a requirement.
