I am from the Deep South and love nature. I love the outdoors. I love taking pictures of nature. I’m not that good quite yet but hope to get better. Please enjoy what I have taken so far and better photos should be coming in the future. I can’t wait to get back to the south….

Hawkinsville is further down the way from Cochran, which is not too far across the interstate from you! It's still pretty far from you though. The county is probably just large. :) The Super Bowl. Yes, I'm sure everyone will be glued to it this weekend except for me! ;) I just can't get into football. It is pretty cool about the two coaches facing each other, however!
Enjoy the cool weekend, dear OM! :) Hugs right back to you, Mary Alice

John from the windy and wet Isle of Man,
'Tis a joy to hear from you once again, and thank you for visiting this lovely hillside. I am so excited to have introduced you to the Atamasco Lilly. It's always fun to learn something new. I think they are so delicate and beautiful. A clearing covered in little bluebells would be every bit as lovely though. I can already picture it in my mind. :)
Thank you for taking the time to stop and notice the little details in such a shot. Your kind words are always very much appreciated.
Also, you are certainly welcome for what I mentioned in our last message.
Again, I thank you for stopping over, and I hope the wind and rain will subside and a glorious day of sun and blue skies will take over. Keep your head high!
Warmest regards always,
Mary Alice
