Awesome pics Nelroy. I believe I am related to H. G. Kamat who has commented on the pics. I miss Binaga a lot. Been visiting Binaga since 1973 when I was a kid. Of late I visit once in 2-3 years. The Kamatsit is built by my ancestors (mon's side). And the pic you have of the mountain (I guess we used to call it anshee-vel) is superb. Yes, project sea/blue-bird has taken over and we have lost the "world's best beach". But I will always cherish the wonderful moments I had in Binaga. I dunno if you knew Srinivas Kamat. He was my grandfather who lived in Binaga. He died in 1996, but his son (my mama) lives there.

this is the most beautiful and calm place i ever saw i wish i could see it at a distance of 2 meters
