Thanks Joke I do not get many chances to shoot with a background like this Its good you were thinking about the reflection on yours Its a learning curve Thinking about Background or Foreground before you photo I find herons are easy to approach sometimes JUst watch them for 20 mins They will give you some good chances to get it flying away or eating something John

I think yours is a Grey Heron A lot smaller than the Blue If you resize yor photos Say to 650 they will take no time at all to load Im looking forward to my trip But not going into USA Security With My Cameras John

Hi Joke Ive been away a while Yes i check your photos all the time When i can Yes a big Improvement You look as you have got a good selection of birds I have Elements 4 Photoshop To crop and finish them off Makes a big diffrence I wait for sunny days in Canada to photograph Birds

I will be in Mexico for 3 weeks Photographing And a bit of sun Next week Happy New year to you all over there John

Hi Ospr3y If You mean High Definition No i shoot in Raw Format what is the largest all the time When i use this format and put it on a DVD i find they come out good on a HD TV. Then convert it to jpeg for site,Yes it is a majestic bird to photograph I can see why you like it But small birds are a bit more of a challenge if flying Thanks for Y Keep Snapping John
