No, there aren't any wild herds of free ranging buffalo in Dry Island Buffalo Jump. They used to be hunted by the thousands over the cliffs by First Nations people, but you're more likely to step on a cactus here these days than see any bison. The only places in Alberta where buffalo still roam in the wild are in Elk Island National Park and Wood Buffalo National Park.
