This is a side channel off from the Penobscot river. If you look carefully, you can see a rope hanging down in the center of the picture. There is a stick tied to the end of it and people hang from it to surf the rapid just behind it.

I never seem to be able to get good pictures of the true power of rapids. This looks really small, but it's actually quite good sized.

This is a pretty little spot at the end of a waterway near First Landing in Virginia Beach. There are many beautiful homes in this area.

We found this baby fox near the road leading up Cadillac Mountain in Acadia Park, Maine. We where able to get quite close.
