Another cracking shot of the scene from so many years ago. Strangely, I do not see any Native Americans with their big head dresses, wigwams, or pipe of peace. Were they from a different part of the country?

A very nice photo of this painting of a monumental event in your history. I believe that replicas of the two locomotives have been built, and put into a permanent display somewhere near Promontory point. Is that true? Are they still there? Have you seen them?
I like this one very much! It is hard to tell which is the painting and which are real solid objects. A great credit to the hard working Chinese too.
