Julius Agricola's conversations

It is a lonely place no one lives there and it is so hard to get there

"Behind the site is a small amphitheatre made from grassy bank". Taken from Wikipedia. If it's wrong it's wrong.

Nuvens espetaculares. Grande captura.

Saudações,

The designer, Mary Frazer-Tyler named it after her husband, George Fredrick Watts, (a victorian painter and sculptor) I believe.

Stunning photo! LK

This is not (as far as I know) an old turnpike road, but the course of the former A3 (London - Porthsmouth), which was still in use untill 2011. The A3 now goes underneath the Devil's Punchbowl via the Hindhead tunnel.

Great photo, really like.

Excellent photo, very evocative :-)
