Formal garden landscape design does not appeal to me, but I'd like to see this one to see how it feels. I don't recall getting into this part of the garden at it's peak season. Wish this garden was closer to Portland, as I'd visit monthly.
Maybe it's time to come back and volunteer some pruning again this autumn or winter. Spent a day there like 6 years ago. Wonder if the pruning handiwork provided can still be spotted. A lot of change can happen in a few years.
In 1966 1967 I lived in the house visiable through This Bridge. My parents had a photo of me standing next the the ribbon they cut at the dedication. I think it was in the register guard. If David Briggs or Doug Brooks remember me. They lived in the RV park and we were in second grade at Mckenzie school k-12
