If I can get out a few times a year and shoot some photography it feels like its been a successful year. My photographic habits center around shooting water scenes atleast the majority of the time. I prefer looking for high country lakes or ocean scenes with water in the foreground or background. Although I have a digital camera I don't shoot with it when I go out and prefer to use a Hasselblad medium format 503CW. Not all that conventional for landscapes but I'm used to it and have used it for about 19 years.
I'll shoot with Velvia 100 slide film and if I'm lucky enough to like a certain image or two at trips end I'll set it aside and wait for a time where I can blow it up or do something with it.
Its enjoyable looking at the many images online and on the Google Earth maps. So many great photographs its always fun seeing something new.
