i don't remember the exact hiking time for goat rope or poot's peak..... a guess for goat rope (this mountain pictured) is 4 hours up from the location the photo was taken (accessed by kayak at high tide only) goat rope trail was definitely in need of maintenance last i was there, very easy to get lost on bear trails, etc. if coming from the saddle trail dropoff, several more hours are required to reach the point where the photo was taken, and this includes crossing halibut creek, so must be done at low tide, so the braided section can be crossed. i never did that, and it seems a bit dangerous to me, but it is a prescribed route. i've been gone from alaska for nearly a year now- most of the time in new zealand, but a bit homesick!! hope this can help corey
