And to be more informative -- even if you drive to the end of the South Douglas logging road, you have a bit of a walk to where this photo was taken. It is both a very scenic drive and a nice walk, though.
The Hardscrabble logging road is slid out 5 or 6 K from the Skeena West bridge. The time I was up at Fiddler Lake, I used that road -- did you have any other access?
The trail head that the quadders use is right at the start of the road that leads up to Twin Falls. If you're coming from Smithes, there is signs that show you the way to Twin Falls, then just before the road narrows down to head up to the falls there is a small parking lot on the right hand side... that is the trail head to Silvern Lakes. You will find a creek the runs thru this trail so be prepared for that. If you need further directions let me know and I can help you.

Nice spot -- I believe I was able to see both the surface of Kitsumkalum Lake and a Kitimat street from here.
