A beautiful river and magical place that conjures up wonderful memories of spending summer vacation and winter holidays upon. My grandparents had a Norman Rockwellian compound on 40 acres of river-front. To get to the cabin, you literally had to go "over-the-river-and-through-the-woods". The driveway was a 1 mile long two-track that went in off of a rural route road (through verdant green Manistee State Forest land). Those were the days for me & my dad's family, indeed!
