Magnificent tonalities & nice silhouettes! I Like it so much!

Czy to grzyby jadalny ale trujacy?

This is the humble little Hotel that I stay at every time I fly into Germany. Less than $75 a night and includes a fantastic German style buffet breakfast which is more food than you should eat all day. How do these people stay so thin? It is right next to the Hauptbahnhoff(main train station)in Frankfurt and an easy 15 minute taxi ride to and from the airport. The train station has everything you need upon arrival and before you leave:food, water, beer, souveneirs, beer, pretzels, a bank for money and phone cards and beer. Less than a block down is a great little Italian place called "7 Bello". Sit outside on one of the big picnic benches and enjoy great food, very cheap and visit with the locals! Its always packed, that tells you something.

Thank you MiKx! Yes, I could easily do the same and although Tubingen is a University town with many students and bicycles everywhere, the tranquil setting there along the river is a very special place which I love to visit with my German friends every time I am in Germany.

Hambach is one of many small towns along the Weinstrasse in Southwestern Germany where you can take a lovely drive through cobblestone streets, stop and taste wine in any number of private homes with tasting rooms (signs hanging outside indicate a "Winestube" or the like) and buy Fantastic local wines for $4-$10 a bottle. Super friendly people and so happy to welcome you in!!

It is so refreshing to see how tolerant and welcoming the German people are towards pets. I have seen dogs welcome everywhere: restaurants, theatres, shopping stores and even in church at a castle!!

I told my husband it would be cool to drive through Frankenstein as I knew it was nearby to the wine region we were visiting. We left Landstuhl and decided on the road less traveled on our way back to Metzingen and ended up passing through Frankenstein by accident. What a great photo stop and we just got the pix of the sign and the castle above before the raindrops fell!!

Beutiful.Very beutiful.I would like to live in this place.I live in Rio de Janeiro,Brasil.

These are some of my Wonderful German friends that I stay with in Metzingen.
