This roof garden is on the top of a three story house in the center of Sana'a, next to the suq. It is photographed from the top of the old funduq. Some chicken and a goat. Dung is drying in the sun, which is used to bake bread.

There are only three stones in the great mosque with a decoration. This shows a gate made of two pillars and an arch. The others also show a gate, but both have a bird in them.

These minarets are very old and not very high. The odd looking balls are decorative lighting and the east tower has no lighting. The v-shape is made up of two fluorescent tubes. It looks as if the religious authorities and the architecture have their own logic. The diameter of the loudspeakers has been designed to fit the openings

This is in the Military Museum in Sana'a. Part of a French project to construct the Hodeidah-Sana'a Railway. Engine parts could still be seen in the sand at Hodeidah in 2001
