Woah! That's the edge of my childhood home. Except painted and with a fence. And during a muddy time of year so you can't see the grass. But it's funny because the same puddles are still on the road. And hey are those wires going over the hedges? Weird.
Hi Nathey . I just joined today ,but I saw your question .I have had a cottage there for about 32 years now and I can tell you it is a canoers paradise .It is more like a river than a lake and goes for ever .There is never rough water and there is a million islands where you can set up camp .As a matter of fact there is a canoe route there with some camp sights already prepared .You can launch at the Lost Channel Inn but you will get charged for the launch and parking .If you just go down about another 5 km or so ,you will find a public dock whith tons of parking space for free .You will know when you are there because it is directly on the right when you cross over the bridge .It`s right there .If you have questions email me fuzztah@persona.ca
