Up to the late 80's possibly a bit later, this was Butlins Hotel. My Father was chef there for many, many years.

When my family arrived for assignment to RAF Greenham Common we stayed at the Queens for a couple days. The floor was uneven but what history has crossed the floor? We ate Gyros across the street for the first time. They used a rotary blade that they bought from the USA but nobody in the USA that I've seen uses that type of blade. They use a long knife.
