Maybe I've said this before, but the creek & beach are named "Jug Handle." Check out the USGS topo maps. The state is trying to correct this, but money is a problem with them for changing signs and web sites. I am on the board of directors of Jug Handle Creek Farm & Nature Center, right across the road on the south side of the creek. We have several misspellings we are trying to correct. Our non profit made possible the entire 5 terraces of the Jug Handle Ecological Staircase to be saved for the general public in 1970.
Hmm. Obviously this is Lower Lindsey at capacity. More recent views show a lake at maybe 70-75%. Still, I have many fond memories of Lindsey and Y camp. From the damn I've seen some pretty nice-sized trout but have never caught any.
