Camera was a waterproof Olympus. Some time later the battery hatch opened unexpectedly with predictably bad results.

The "covered" spinner. Into the tube, and from the tube into darkness--then sploosh. Water. Inside the covered spinner the environment is dark and overwhelmingly humid. It's SO humid, in fact, that if the temperature was much under 85 degrees F, clouds would probably form. Or not. It doesn't matter however, because it is so dark in there that you would never see the clouds anyway.

Probably my last photo of the pool beneath "The Spinner," a contraption that propels the rider around a track and then unceremoniously dumps them into the pool below. The kids call this ride "The Toilet Bowl."

Even in September in Texas the water in this "lazy river" seems ice cold. In the upper right corner of the photo one can see a torrent of water released by the "bucket"--a device that fills with water over a period of 4 minutes or so, then tips over to splash everyone below. The water then runs off into the river.

Wow. I received that "meaningless" comment a long time ago. Better explain the photo: This photo, to me, looked like a river. It was painted on tile that was attached to the wall of an artificial river at Splashtown in Spring, TX. So I thought it was kinda interesting that it was a painting of an artificial river that was located AT an artificial river at a water park in a state that doesn't have a lot of water lately. Hope that helps!

Love this pic.. Love Warrensburg!
