Stephon Wong's conversations

That's not Lucent--Lucent is north of the station. That's the design building. Nice pic though.

In this place 1971 Pakistani army kild the intellectuals just before two days they are surrendered.

This famous architectural landmark in gothic style was built as head quarter of the great Indian Penninsular Railway and put up for use in 1878 baptised after then Queen of England Victoria. Since then the station came to be known as Bombay VT from Bombay bunder. Later in 19880s in the wake of the parochialisation of the city and other parts of Maharastra the name of this famous structure was changed to Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus. The Maratha Warrior would have been more respected if the men behind this change had constructed a similar structure not necessarily in Gothic style, would have shown real caliber and strength of this King among his so called his followers. Changing a tag or name is very easy. Very few know that the series of Shatabdi Express in the Indian Railway system prefixed by the code number 20-- was started in 1978 to commomorate the hundred years of this famous building of naowadays Central Railway. The first Shatabdi (which later in revised coding system came to be numbered as 2001) ran between New Delhi and Agra as Fastest train of those days surpassing the speed of Howrah Delhi Rajdhani express those days. This is contrary to Rs.lakh question on "Kaun Banega Karorpati" where Sidharth Basu wrogly placed the answer to the question of nomenclature of Shatabdi Express by associating it the birth centenary of our beloved fiirst Prime Minister Nehru whose birth centennary is the same 1978. Basu is not new in this mistake. Several textbooks and general knowlegde literature inform the same wrong information. Infact in this contest this correct answer did not figure at all. It is to be noted the stretch of line between delhi to Bombay via Agra belongs to Central Railway. Later this Shatabdi was extended to Gwalior and then to Bhopal, still the fastest train in the Indian Railway System. For more detail contact xsubhash@gmail.com
