I live in little old New Zealand. It is an amazing place full of amazing scenery and surprises. It seems so far from any other place. Any trip past Australia or the Pacific Islands is a big adventure from any one leaving our Antipodeon base. And any adventure is worth recording, so here are a few pictures I've taken along the way.

Fun road for large vehicles. Limited now to less than 12m, watched a 14.5m tour coach negotiate this stretch, from INSIDE the bus. Good fun!
Sorry but that is not flax in your photo - it is toetoe or toitoi or Prince of Wales feathers. Flax has red flowers.
