I was stationed there January - October 1971 at the Finance Unit. Our office was located near the passanger terminal (we shared the building with the Postal Unit and the Chaplain). this picture brings back a flood of memories.

commenting on the restaurant to Matt5-we went there in boats from construction on new bridge also fall of '68, I remember the great fried shrimp and bread with water buffalo butter. When I asked for something to put on bread, they went somewhere to buy the butter, but with no refrigeration did not keep it on hand for customers as we do in America, and they were all so friendly. Bridge blown up night before election Nov. '68.
