I grew up in Indiana with an interest in art and the outdoors. I received my first 35mm camera from my parents when I graduation from Purdue University. I lived for three years in Ethiopia while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer on a reforestation project After a brief time with Indiana Fish and Wildlife, I went to work for the Quinault Indian Nation (QIN) on the Olympic Peninsula. I helped lay down the roots for a forestry program and produced publications related to natural resources. I currently managed the QIN Centralized Communications Program. I enjoy photography, hiking, and the natural sciences.

Hi DBW, this place recalls my memories. I've been there twice, at the end of the trip, the last two days remained at NZ... once I had there overnight camping and cold excellent morning with bathing in the river!

Interesting place, fortunately still not crowded by tourists rushing via Arthur pass between West Coast and Christchurch. It could be nice to have some trekking to Mt. White, but I had no spare time for more adventures. :(

Cheers, Tom

Marilyn, у Вас действительно долгая зима, у нас уже расцвели первые весенние цветы, хоть температура ночью опускается до минуса.

О возрасте Вашего дома я узнала из описания, интересная история!

Привет из Украины, Людмила
