I grew up in Indiana with an interest in art and the outdoors. I received my first 35mm camera from my parents when I graduation from Purdue University. I lived for three years in Ethiopia while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer on a reforestation project After a brief time with Indiana Fish and Wildlife, I went to work for the Quinault Indian Nation (QIN) on the Olympic Peninsula. I helped lay down the roots for a forestry program and produced publications related to natural resources. I currently managed the QIN Centralized Communications Program. I enjoy photography, hiking, and the natural sciences.

Thanks Heather. Mike, is was just finished this in July.

Only few trails in this area, but lots of cross country on elk trails here. Only the Wynoochee Pass trail is marked. The trail to Discovery Lake is not marked.

This is a reservoir and levels often fall this time of the year. We are getting very light rain here now.

Thanks. An interesting place.

I had to stop and look.
