I grew up in Indiana with an interest in art and the outdoors. I received my first 35mm camera from my parents when I graduation from Purdue University. I lived for three years in Ethiopia while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer on a reforestation project After a brief time with Indiana Fish and Wildlife, I went to work for the Quinault Indian Nation (QIN) on the Olympic Peninsula. I helped lay down the roots for a forestry program and produced publications related to natural resources. I currently managed the QIN Centralized Communications Program. I enjoy photography, hiking, and the natural sciences.

(I'm very much with you. I've deleted Google +... It's a monster out of control!!! Hopefully I can re enable my YouTubes)

Best wishes, David

Larry, there are several announcements in the forum, along with considerable discussion. So far, it has mostly been polite. There are still a lot of questions, but it seem that if you use a smartphone to upload, your photos can go directly to views. If you want to use a "real" camera, then the only option is to upload to Google+, then they will automatically go to views. Existing Panoramio photos will go to views if you link your Panoramio account to Google+.

I have always respected you as a photographer, and years ago soaked up your Thursday Photo Tips series in the forum. Although much of it I had been exposed to before, the review helped me do better as a photographer. Thanks for that.

蒂芙尼.林 - big thanks , and yes I will have a look!

Beautiful image L+F!

Like Greeting from BKK, Thailand.

Very Beautiful landscape Ela! The desolate atmosphere I like very much like the feeling of space and silence! L+F
