I grew up in Indiana with an interest in art and the outdoors. I received my first 35mm camera from my parents when I graduation from Purdue University. I lived for three years in Ethiopia while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer on a reforestation project After a brief time with Indiana Fish and Wildlife, I went to work for the Quinault Indian Nation (QIN) on the Olympic Peninsula. I helped lay down the roots for a forestry program and produced publications related to natural resources. I currently managed the QIN Centralized Communications Program. I enjoy photography, hiking, and the natural sciences.

wonderful blue hour !!!! LIKE Best wishes a.beyer

Wonderful view, I saw the moonrise that day before the weather deteriorated, and it was great.

At my place the weather was terrible too, with rain, thunder and lightning just for the eclipse, and fine weather everywhere around, now I'll have to wait decades for the next... :-(

Interesting summer. We had huge numbers of jellies washing up on most tides on the Olympic coast this summer.

Thank you very much Kama! Best regards, Larry

Yes you were. We had one of the warmest driest summers in recent memory. Rivers were at record lows because of the snow drought in the mountains. Still, when the rains do come, we get breaks that are incredibly beautiful.
