I grew up in Indiana with an interest in art and the outdoors. I received my first 35mm camera from my parents when I graduation from Purdue University. I lived for three years in Ethiopia while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer on a reforestation project After a brief time with Indiana Fish and Wildlife, I went to work for the Quinault Indian Nation (QIN) on the Olympic Peninsula. I helped lay down the roots for a forestry program and produced publications related to natural resources. I currently managed the QIN Centralized Communications Program. I enjoy photography, hiking, and the natural sciences.

Ciao dall'Italia, Roberta

Супер! Трудно остаться белой когда живешь среди черного. Тем достойней!

Beautiful photo... I LIKE... Best wishes

Beautiful pictures, all of em. Would love to go up there and do some shooting myself, I say shooting I would mean with my camera of course.

Fantastic!!! i like this photo

Somewhere nearby that spot is where my wife and I hung our hammock next to the river (and the road) and watched a herd of elk cross the river just downstream of us :)

Beautifully composed! L+F. Best wishes from the Northern foothills of the Austrian Alps, Markus.

Amazing scenery! L+F. I guess there are bears to meet? Do you need a gun out there or is it enough being noisy to prevent undesired encounters? Markus.
