En su conjunto el paisaje de Benaoján es muy accidentado, especialmente a medida que el río Guadiaro se va encajando entre las sierras calizas al sur del municipio. Además en se encuentran las famosas cuevas de: La Cueva del Gato gran caverna es el curso subterráneo del río Guadiaro que se sumerge en la garganta del Hundidero para reaparecer tras 4,5 kms Conocida desde siempre por las grandes proporciones de sus dos entradas.
