As I recall it was late in year- Nov or December. No tourists around and dreary. Water temp was unusually warm for this time of the year - about 50 degrees- gulf stream was blown in by storm. Tide, moon and winds combined to blow in a lot of water. Normally when tide turns the high water recedes but in this case it leaves a lot of Seawater where it usually isn't.
