Hello Steve, I shall be visiting the site next week and I'm amazed that the parade ground and barracks are almost untouched, I'm very much looking forward to seeing that. Thank you very much for all the information and I shall look for the net references you mentioned too. Best wishes, Steve Connors
Bore da,
(sorry, that's all my mother taught me that I remember).
Wonderful pictures of where I will be vacationing next September. We are going to be staying at Marconi Holiday Village at Lavenock Point, so you have provided me with some wonderful views as to what we can expect. I even zoomed in on the bungalow we want to stay at (last one on the left).
If you have any particularly interesting places you think we may be interested in seeing, please let me know. I will be spending some time looking for any living relatives in S. Glamorgan.
However, being that my great grandparents came to America in 1869 and I can only locate one uncle
(William Morgan-he died in 1904)-it may be difficult.
Again, wonderful pictures.
Thanks,
Larry Neal

Hey! We used to live in that house -- back in the US now. We love Penarth. Nice to see it again. We miss the gypsy horses.
Brian,
Close enough for me.
