Nice busy shot. B&A.

Hi, The woods near the old weigh house are now carpeted with bluebells. I expect that your Mum had a wonderful time there, especially with the little railway running past the front door. Regards, B & A.

Hi, Thank you for the information. I have deleted the titles on both pictures. Regards.

This NOT the New Passage Hotel - that was pulled down in the late 1970s

Hi, Absolutely correct. Have a look at my Samos tag... you may recognise some of the places. Regards, B & A.

That could get "interesting" if a marathon took a wrong turn onto this!

I've been through several times, once when "stuck" waiting for a ship out in Barry. For some reason, after walking about the town near the old Roman baths and driving around a bit I never thought to get out and walk along the river. I remember this "U" shaped cascade from the bridge view. A shame.

nice! That happens here in GER as well. Some less ones of that formerly so many of that yellow boxes remains over here too.

Btw - if you zoom in into the map you will see that there are two of them.

cheers - michael

Ah yes, "conveniences" were nice and I thought them very civilized as here one usually has to enter a store and sometimes even buy something. Then I began finding some of yours badly vandalized and far less "convenient"! On the police/fire call boxes I found this after posting that comment.
