San Borondon is believed to be the missing islands on the Canarian. For long time people have tried to find it, never achieving such goal. Rumors tell that at this piece of moving land people live in a different fashion and long time ago forgot the meaning of words as war, money, law….
I once had the chance not only to see it but to take a picture of it, which I leave here as proof of its existence, for those who do not believe it’s a real island and for thouse who do.
Picture was taken at sunrise on Teide summit, looking towards La Palma Island, to the right. Some may say that it is an atmospheric phenomenon of shade at sunrise on Teide summit and water held it the atmosphere. I prefer to think that San Borondon can only be seen on clear-minded days.
