These are my photos of the glorious Peak District National Park (minus the area that lies within the Sheffield city boundary which can be found here; http://www.panoramio.com/user/1027207) and of Derbyshire in general. All photos are located to within a few feet of where I took the picture from and the images are straight from camera with minor adjustments for contrast and colour to give as accurate a portrayal of the scene as possible. The photos are best viewed large, ideally on a HD monitor. Enjoy! PS. The date and time each photograph was taken can be found by clicking 'extra information' at the bottom right of each page.

All of my sites are on a Google+ account I believe. If you sign out it should go to a Google+ page. It's such a shame this is happening even though I haven't been doing much photography over the last year or so. I've been very much involved with the Save Sheffield Street Trees campaign and other things as well as dealing with my stressful job so, unless I get a lottery win very soon I'm not going to be doing much photography in the near future - it's way too time consuming. I need to retire early like your good self. :)

You know me so well dear boy! Lol

Thank you Sixxy. I took a dozen pictures at that point and irritatingly managed to lose my lens cap. Have managed to order another one via Amazon. (This comment was sponsored by Amazon.co.uk)

Likewise Neil, have a very Merry Christmas and keep clicking! And you never know, I might just get around to start titling!

Yes Neil. I popped up there early on Saturday morning hoping they'd be lit up by the morning sun but it was a little overcast and hazy and then the sun did come out but it was so low in the sky and the trees were casting so much shade that it didn't make much difference. I was also disappointed that they're doing work on the dam so they'd lowered the water level which revealed the base of the poppies and which meant there were no decent reflections in the lake. I was quite disappointed thh.

Actually, I deliberately included the scaffolding in this shot as it reminds viewers that the cathedral has been maintained continuously since it was first constructed. And if you believe that you're a banana.
