C'est bien la cour du Lycée Ameth Fall. Il s'agit d'un ancien hôpital colonial, récupéré ensuite pour y établir un lycée de jeunes filles. La petite construction en travers de la cour avait été détruite. Elle n'existait plus dans les années 70-75. La ville de St. Louis l'a fait reconstruire pour redonner au bâtiment son aspect d'origine. Dans les années 70-75, c'était un très bon lycée, j'y ai de très bons souvenirs, en tant que professeur.

Hello Hamzars! I do not live actually in Africa, but I spent there a month last summer, working with a NGO. Wonderful experience, I'm really looking forward to do it again this year!
I'm glad you liked the picture Christian. I've check out yours and you have a lot impressive ones too (I liked specially the truck in the NWFP). My four friends and I went last summer to Mauritania to work and help. After we were done in our job, we took a five day tour in the Sahara, where we visited the crater, among other amazing places. Then we went also a few days to Senegal.
