Excellent photo!!! Greetings from Athens.
Beautiful place and photo.L+F
And yes, locals called it Old McClares (McClears? not sure) but in the 60's and 70's at least, we called it White Sulphur Springs Ranch. There was an arched sign over the driveway entrance with that name on it. The pool was open to the public in the summer. I think it cost .25 or .50 cents to swim there! The pool was known for it's healing qualities...I think the sulphur in it was the reason. There were old mines in the hills and old RR tressels; I would love to go hiking back up there again!
Well done, I love it. I wonder what great minds were taught here 200 years ago.
WOW! Some call this time the magic hour, but I think I will call it "The Decisive Second".
Thank you again. I'm looking for some others to post from that same day.
As another person said, it is hard to take a bad photo of the Buttes and the lakes, but his is very impressive. Beautiful!
Thanks for your comment and your vote.
Greg, Thanks for the input. I have a Canon 50D and shoot everything in raw mode. I use the converter in CS4. Looks like I could use a polarizer and a brush up on the converter to get better color saturation. Love your images. Thanks for posting.
