My dad worked on this ship in the early 70s and I remember going on board a few times; it's sad to see her in this state.
I still have a Canadian flag that flew from her stern post that he gave me before he died!
When did she give up the fight? I tried to find some info on the net about her to no avail?
I worked on Lake Winnipeg in the mid 70's on a survey crew. We used to meet the Selkirk in the middle of the lake as we were crossing from Grand Beach to Gimli.
I Agree she should be moved to the museum and restored.
The MS Keenora was a cargo ship Bringing supplies to northern Lake Winnipeg.
The Bradbury was operated by the Federal Government as a bouy tender and research vessal on Lake Winnipeg.
Both are now part of the maritime Museum in Selkirk
