Muvvagopal, thank you. If your comments are right, I will make changes. However, I think you might need to revisit your observations. I have driven on this highway between Hyderabad and Bangalore several times, and when coming from Hyderabad, you cross this river / fort and almost immediately are in Kurnool city. Therefore, the Tungabhadra, I recall having seen the board as well before the bridge. This photo is taken from the bridge. But I will also check again, and if incorrect, then will make required changes to the title of this snap.

Thank you. In the picture, one can also see the solar arrays on the roof of each building - eco-friendly energy management. The tall masts (the ones like radio masts) are lightining arrestors!

Hi Amol

This is the old (much smaller) HAL airport. If you see the image in full screen, you can see (from the top of the image to the bottom) the isolation bay, terminal with two aerobridges, bay which was earlier used mainly for cargo aircraft, and the cargo terminal (with blue building). Runway 27 is at the bottom end of the picture, and 09 at the top end.
