Other side of that fence there stood the East River Tennis Club. In Aug. '76 there was a minor tournament there and Chris Evert and Arthur Ashe showed up for p.r. purposes. I was a ballboy.

Just found some records that indicate this was sold to a Stephen and Ruth McColgan in '58.

Wow, so this was taken in 1992? I was there just last year! It hasn't changed much. And I didn't know that! Amazing.
