...I backed a horse(or so I thought) in this race,
you can see him there at the back, idling !! Needless to say, coming to the last fence he was
nearly half a mile behind the leaders...I yelled at him, " oi, you twit, shape up !! " The silly
so and so even refused to jump the last, well, what do you expect for a 100/1?
....I have nice memories of this racecourse, the
bookies were most welcoming and quickly took me to cleaners....despite my expletives and other
unprintables the stewards overruled my objections
on the ground that 'idza weffer wot dunnit !!' The
cheeky sod !!
