The position of the photo is incorrect. It was taken from a spot just about to the SW of where the bridge connects to Manoel Island. The bridge to the island can be seen in the right of the photo. The location given in about 4000 feet in error. I am 100% certain of this since I was there last week.
Thanks for the info. Both the houses here are now owned by Henry Termeer, chairman and CEO of Genzyme. The Shepard family still has a Marblehead presence.
