Thanks for the update. When I walked the trail last fall the beavers' activity had caused a small stream to cut across the trail. Nothing you couldn't step over. I think the beavers are going to be keeping the DNR busy if they want to keep the trail open.

Pile of rocks in an open area between the Prairie Overlook Trail and the Rolling Hills Savanna Trail in the southwest corner of William O'Brien State Park.
Moose Brook in the "Lost 40" Scientific and Natural Area located east of Alvwood, Minnesota in Chippewa National Forest.
According to Wikipedia, "this area was accidentally mapped as part of Coddington lake when the original maps of the region were laid out in 1882. As a result of this mapping error, the Lost Forty was never logged. This area has become some of the oldest forest in the state, with some trees over 350 years old."
