I was at La Boquilla with friends in late Nov. 2008, the hotel Bahia de la Luna is a place sort of secretive and well hidden, a quite perfect integration in the landscape. It was indeed a little piece of paradise on earth as the cabins have a gorgeous view on the sea and you will be carried through the night by the sound of the waves, watching the stars above (I had the feeling to be at the planetarium except that it was real). The food is great. Be sure however to go there with friends as it's hard to get there and out and a good deal of the hotel's clientele seems to be made of honeymooners
Very nice shot! Many greetings from oakland, CA!
An impressive photo, Richard. A little village far away in the sea.
Greetings from Frankfurt, mainufo.
One of the greatest photos I've ever seen.
This rates as one of my favorite areas to hike in. Rather than hike up Lost Valley, my fellow hikers and I opted to take the junction to Big 5 Lakes. It is a "must do" if you enjoy prestine lakes and great fishing. There is a little known route on the west end of the Big 5 Lakes valley which the rangers call "Hands-and-Knees Pass". It is aptly named but quite do-able. It takes you over to Spring Lake.
Thanks for the great post!
