Definitely Bridge Street. I used to catch the number 9 or 10 bus at that very place where the people are standing every work day, when the current Kamasutra was a Crawford's restaurant.
The Panoramio photograph of Windmill Brae on Google Earth is taken from the bridge railing you see in this photo (though the taker was probably standing off-camera to the right).
I wanted to provide the correct location for the map pin too, but I can't do that unless the street name is corrected first.
apologies ranald,maybe my eyesight,s not as good as it used to be.i visited hampden several times during refurb but could not recognise the changes on your photo.thanks for enlightening me.
