This portion of the coastline between Beer and Branscombe collapsed overnight in March 1790.

High Peak is the dark dome to the right, with the coastline from Ladram Bay to Danger Point stretching to the left.

This detatched piece of grass caught my eye in the evening light alomg with the moon over Golden Cap. Lots of fossil hunters can be seen on the beach if you zoom in.

The beautiful sandstone seastacks of Ladram Bay are unfortunately spoiled by the all too obvious cliffside development of the caravan park.

Thanks for your kind comments Geoff. The caves are still open, although we didn't visit. This area was new to us, so we concentrated on seeing as much of the coastline from Burton Bradstock to Ladram Bay as we could in a week. The weather was pretty good for late October and we got some nice waves and a few sunny spells.
