I stayed here in 1998 during the EAA Fly In in Osh Kosh. Looks exactly the same.
The Cobb County Courthouse Complex is a huge facility covering 3 blocks. This is only one of several court buildings that's a part of the facility. It's the newest building constructed & by far the most attractive court building in the complex. The other buildings are modern, where they at least tried to give this building a traditional "courthouse" feel with the inclusion of a clock tower.
The white building with the Christmas decor is not a part of the Superior Court building.
Also, I did not notice the blur from the water on my lens. It was still spitting a little rain when I took the picture & I did not notice it until I was in my hotel that night.
Yes, it's a cute little one. Thanks.
Right after I took this picture, I met an ECU fan with his family who had come to visit the memorial. I pointed out the things that people who saw the movie "We Are Marshall" would want to see or know about the memorial. The gentleman informed me that he was on the 1970 ECU team that played that Marshall team for the very last time. It was an honor to make his acquaintance & reminded me once again that this memorial is so much more than the scene of a an emotional speech from a movie.
WE ARE MARSHALL
I like it - go Herd!
I believe this is actually the Lincoln County Courthouse
I believe this is the Plumas County Courthouse.
When the WVDEP Office of Waste Management occupied the 2nd floor, I used to work here.
My uncle used to work here.
Thank you, herdintheupstate! Appreciate it.
