It was being converted in loft apartments, but caught on fire two years ago. Hoping they won't demolish it.

I agree. This land was part of Camp Croft, which was a US Army training camp and POW camp during WWII. I wonder if it was part of the camp or if it was built afterwards?
Thanks Michael. I see from looking through some of your photos that you seem to be attracted to older buildings and bridges, much as I am. I never pass up an opportunity to photograph a courthouse.
This building is from Cairo's oil & gas boomtown days. It's about all that remains in this town.
