Heel mooi, inderdaad. Jammer alleen dat snijbloemen geen geur meer hebben. In dit virtuele tijdperk is dat er uitgekweekt. Alleen fresia's ruiken nog(?). In mijn oude volkstuin staan al die oude rassen nog: narcisse-stammen van voor de oorlog. Tuin is allang niet meer van mij, de blommen staan d'r hopelijk nog wel!

Dear Charles, I am moved by your comment. Winter and snow looks so peacefull, but it must have been a horrible time for you and your buddies. I was born (1959) and grew up in Maastricht, which is close to the American war cemetery in Margraten. The battle of the bulge was and is always close.
